    the simpliest way it is considering the last 12 months of your usage. this will give us an average of the energy you need to produce/generate.

    you can get this information calling your utility, checking your online account.

     

    If you want to get a more accurate usage you can download the Green Data Button available in your online profile account.

    We will know not only how much you use, but also when exactly you use it, and this is important nowadays with the new TOU rates from the utilitues ( read more)

  • How many panels do I need?

    Once you know the energy you need to produce to avoid the high electricity cost from your utility and/or help the world. we will need to calculate the amount of panels you need to produce this amount of energy.

    Your home has a particular azimuth and your roof has a determined tilt. and shade. this 2 factors are the basic engineering factor that will determinate the amount of energy you can generate using a particular system size.

     

  • What is the System Size?

    this is the key question when comparing different panels or proposals.

    System size it is the relationship between the wattage of each panel multiplied by the number of panels

    System Size = Wattage x #Panels

    Ex: 315 watts x 20 panels = 6.3 kW

  • How do I choose my solar panels?

    Once you know the System Size you need to produce the amount of energy you need, now you can choose the wattage of the panels you will be installing.

    Have in mind that high wattage panels are little more expensive than standard wattage panels.

    We recommend high wattage panels when you don’t have enough roof space to install standard panels.
